This website gives some examples of the expertise and services the Aberdeenshire Rural Partnerships offer in the north east of Scotland. The purpose is to help statutory authorities and other agencies see how they can use our services more to help them engage with, and support, communities.
Rural Partnerships in Aberdeenshire were set up in the 1990s as independent organisations, created and managed by community representatives. We have evolved to reflect the need of our communities and have developed extensive knowledge and expertise to fulfil our core purpose of helping to build stronger, more sustainable, communities. We work together as the Aberdeenshire Rural Partnerships Federation, and contribute to the Community Planning Partnership at all levels. We have the scope to do more to support agencies in their work with communities.
